Clay Studio offers several work trade positions on a quarterly basis. Our work trade program is geared towards college students, recent graduates, and those who are interested in exploring more about the ceramic arts. A work trade at Clay Studio is a wonderful opportunity to learn technical ceramic skills while also observing how a community arts center operates.
Work trade members can enjoy a monthly clay stipend and access to studio space and equipment in exchange for helping to maintain the studio.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) loading and unloading kilns, glazing, intaking bisqueware, overseeing glaze area, conducting cleanup and facilities organization and inventory.
