Instructor: Jared Vazales
About your instructor: Jared Vazales began throwing on the wheel in high school. He later created an after-school program teaching elementary and middle school students how to hand build and work on the wheel. He loves that clay is such an approachable and versatile medium for making and creating– and finds the process of working with clay enriching and therapeutic. Over the years Jared, has found other ways to explore his love of design and craft including landscape design and woodworking, but always comes back to clay as his favorite medium. He loves sharing his enthusiasm for clay with new students and helping them learn the tools and techniques to develop their own relationship with it.
