
Handmade Utensil Holder

Description: Add style to your kitchen by designing and building your own utensil holder. Over two hours you will learn fundamental handbuilding techniques while interacting with other artists in the community. Pick up your clay before the workshop and drop off your work afterwards to be glazed and fired.
About the instructor: Dini (former Studio Manager at Clay Studio) is now based in Brooklyn and is teaching Clay Studio live virtual workshops and classes. Dini Dixon received a BFA in Ceramics from Pratt Institute. Her work explores the intersection of video and ceramics utilizing traditional ceramic techniques and stop motion animation. In 2018 she had solo exhibitions at 808 Projects in Denver and the Thomas Hunter Project Space in Manhattan. Her video The Long Goodbye was an official selection of the 2018 Supernova Digital Animation Festival.
