Description: Cristy Candler facilitates sound healing for groups and individuals interested in meditation, relaxation, and healing. Using crystal gemstone infused singing bowls to generate harmonic tones that relax the nervous system and balance the brain, Candler provides a calming atmosphere of somatic and sonic peace for mind, body and spirit.

Join her in a group sound bath experience Tuesday May 24th at 6pm outdoors under the canopy of trees at Clay Studio (weather permitting.) Please bring a sweater/jacket and your own blanket and pillow. Yoga mats will be provided (but you are welcome to bring your own as well) and Covid safety respected.

Covid-19 Vaccination Mandate: Starting February 1, 2022, Clay Studio will require all employees, teachers, members and students to be vaccinated in order to enter the studio. You must show your vaccination card, a photo of your vaccination card or your SMART Health Card Record from Ca.gov to a Clay Studio employee on your first day of class. About the instructor:

Cristy Candler has been teaching, practicing and studying yoga, movement and sound for over twenty years.  She began as an early ballerina and after acquiring her BFA in Dance and Theater from Loyola Marymount University, Cristy became a professional dancer and subsequent triple threat, performing at The Kennedy Center, The United Nations, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, and in major blockbuster Broadway hits such as Aida, the original cast of Wicked, Chicago, and Rock of Ages.

On top of her professional performing career, Cristy studied with some of the best yoga masters in New York City, including the Jivamukti method with her teachers, Sharon Gannon and David Life.  Cristy taught yoga at Laughing Lotus NY, Sankalpah, Crunch Fitness, Synergy gyms, and various corporate yoga environments.  Cristy taught yoga in the Broadway community as well, onstage before curtain.  She attributes her deep studies of yoga philosophy to maintaining a healthy mind, body, and spirit for over thirteen years on Broadway.
